Hawk in Morning Light (Sharp-Shinned Hawk)
This image was taken just as morning fog was starting to clear. Thus the misty appearance. I always seem to get mixed up between sharp-shinned hawks and immature Cooper's hawks. I think that this is a sharpie. If you have a different opinion please let me know. Hard to do the tail ID thing with it being all wet like that.

Estuary Sharpie (Sharp-Shinned Hawk?)
Really enjoyed the fall colors in this one. Did my best with the focus and detail as I have been down to using my old 1D-Mark4 and a 100-400mm lens. Other equipment is either held up in shipping or is being worked on. Hoping to have the quality back up to normal soon.

Hawk on The Mountain (Sharp-Shinned Hawk)
Wondered why there were no pygmy owls out today up on the mountain. Then I saw a very active Sharp-Shinned Hawk after the juncos. Pygmies don't like hawks much.

Another Suprise Visitor (Sharp-Shinned Hawk)
Today a Sharp-Shinned hawk came for a visit on the money tree. Probably why we didn't see any pygmy owls around. Just stuck around long enough for me to get a few frames then took off like a shot.
