Python Lake Redhead (Redhead Duck)
Another spring and early summer resident was the redhead duck. These too were pretty tame and came in quite close. Love the sharpness in this one and the way the reflection on the water compliments the colors on the bird. Best seen at full size for more detail.

We do get the odd one of these out on the coast but you see a whole lot more of them in the interior.
