This male belted kingfisher was really hungry today and downed three of these guys while I was there. Not indigenous to the marsh these are fish that someone has let go from a private fish bowl and over time have gotten pretty big.

A couple of kingfishers seem to be having a great time chasing one another around the French Creek Marina the other day.

1200mm Test (Belted Kingfisher)
Went to Brookwood Marsh today to give the new camera a test at 1200mm. So far so good. Seems to focus quite a bit better than the 1D Mark 4 with the 2X on the 600mm.
